    Great article and I couldn’t agree more with the relying on your “gut instincts” piece. I did this with my first app and it bombed. Well I say bombed (achieved 2000 downloads in 9 months) – it basically made me around $5 in this period against an initial outlay of around $900.

    Although I’m still delighted with this as the lessons I’ve learned from this have been priceless and I can be sure that I won’t be making the same mistake with apps 2, 3, 4, 5…. This time I will simply listen to the market and do EXACTLY what it tells me.
